Concerts featuring selected songs composed by Manos Hatjidakis, to be performed, mostly in English, by a number of singers of international stature. Musical adaptation and overall resposibilitiy for the musical side of the concert will be undertaken by Elvis Costello.

World premier of a new work by Philip Glass specially commissioned from the Cultural Olympiad. The work will be performed by five musicians from around the world, one from each continent.
